Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
Our community center specializes in providing a wide range of services to meet a variety of community needs, such as meeting spaces, language classes and interpreting services, cultural and art education programs, and support resources for residents. We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment that fosters collaboration and understanding among all community members.
To meet community needs and provide innovative activities/events, we reach out to other nonprofit organizations, social and educational organizations, schools, churches, and county and city offices. Collaboration is key to identifying where and what Community & Culture Connections can best equip the community for success.
How can I get involved?
We welcome individuals and families to join our programs and/or volunteer opportunities. Your participation helps enrich the community experience and supports our mission of promoting cultural literacy, community cohesion, and collaboration.
Volunteers have found value in the relationships developed through Community Connections Center activities, such as English and Spanish language classes, international-themed dinners, workshops, and events. Using our interests, talents, and skills to volunteer is a satisfying way to spend our time and often opens up a world and relationships that we hadn’t considered possible.

Do you offer language classes?
Yes! We provide English and Spanish classes to facilitate increased and improved communication and integration with and for all residents. Our programs aim to bridge the linguistic gap and make essential services more accessible for everyone. All language classes take place in 6 – 15-week sessions throughout the year and are offered based on the linguistic level of students enrolled.
